What are you grateful for?

I am an artist and organizer, amongst other things. In November 2020, a chalk-art buddy and I wrote “What are you grateful for?” on a popular walking trail, left a few pieces of chalk to encourage others to contribute to the list, and walked away, hoping that no one would write anything too offensive. After a few days, the list had grown quote long and we were thrilled to have created our first “community art” project.

Last week, we asked our fellow trail users again, “What are you grateful for?” We left a few pieces of chalk, and let the community do the rest.

If you missed out on the sidewalk chalk experience, feel free to comment below and share something you are grateful for. Thank you!
